Dear Playhouse Patron                                                                             December 2011

Donations in support of The Playhouse in San Anselmo were put to good use last year.  A major remodel was completed in fall 2011 in our back stage areas, including updated fire protection, upgraded electrical wiring,  LED lighting on all the steps in the seating area of the house and more.  The project spent $60,000 plus another roughly $60,000 of volunteer time from contractors, craftsmen, electricians and caring community members.

Our new website www.playhousesananselmo.org was launched summer 2011 and we also have our own Facebook page.   Details and pictures of our remodel are posted, news updates from our tenant productions and a new calendar promoting all our scheduled events and performances.

Our next building update goals include adding energy efficient lighting in the main theater, the lobby and upstairs dressing rooms, finishing the modernization of our theatrical lighting and completing our long and growing list of other improvements and repairs.

The Playhouse needs to be able to count on a consistent, annual stream of donations in order to maintain and improve the facility.  Your tax-deductible gift of any amount would be greatly appreciated and would help us meet our goal. 

We are asking you to consider a gift of $75 or more to the 2011 Playhouse Annual Fund, although a gift of any amount would make such an important difference.  Our goal is to raise funds to support the annual operating costs and our on-going improvements for the 2011-2012 Season at The Playhouse.
