Backstage at the Playhouse is going to be a bright new experience! Those of us who are used to the backstage being a tangle of dark beam supports and cubbies turned dressing rooms will be happy to see this transition into a well lit space with sheet-rocked walls. Here are some pictures of our progress.
The tunnel along the Kensington St side of the theater appears much wider now without the heater ducts overhead. This picture is looking toward the concession door.
How nice our lighting electrics look along the side tunnel. Look at all the sprinkler heads too! The space may not be useful for dressing room cubbies but it is really well suited to backstage prop tables during show time.
